The Adjustments

The correct time for the first adjustment is usually 6 - 8 weeks after surgery
The adjustments are performed on an outpatient basis. A thin needle is used to inject or withdraw saline via the access port in order to tighten or loosen the band as you require. In this way the band can be adjusted to suit your individual needs.

The frequency of these adjustments will be determined by the degree of your weight loss (which initially might be slow), the amount of food you are able to eat, the feeling of satiety and the amount of fluid already in the band.
Our team will be in London, Belfast, Birmingham, Cardiff, Glasgow, Manchester, Dublin and Cork to do your very necessary adjustments and to follow up on the progress that you are making on the road to recovery and discovery. These adjustments are a very necessary part of the entire weight loss program and should be regarded as extremely important
